Maven makes his way down to the ring. He was originally supposed to face
Tajiri who is absent due to personal issues. Maven claims Tajiri and ECW is
scared of Bischoff's army and makes an open challenge to any 'extreme
superstar'. And, it's Lance Storm!!!

They exchange armbars to begin. Off the ropes, Storm with a baseball slide
through Maven and then catches him with a back elbow. Storm with a hanging
vertical suplex for a 2 count. Maven whips Storm into the corner, but Storm
leapfrogs the charging Maven. However, Maven stops Storm's momentum with a poke
to the eyes. Maven now takes control with a clothesline followed by an
elbowdrop. Maven stomps and pounds away on Storm. Maven with a back suplex for
a 2 count.

Maven with a dropkick before posing to the crowd and applying a
chinlock. Storm eventually manages to break out of it and gets a chop in at
Maven. Storm with a series of three clotheslines, but he misses a crossbody
block and rolls out of the ring. Maven goes to use his weight belt, but the
referee strips it off him. With the referee momentarily distracted, Storm grabs
a chair from under the ring and delivers a chairshot to the throat of Maven.
Storm with a flying crossbody from the top rope and that's enough for the 1-2-
3. Storm seemed really excited to be back and can still go in the ring
