 NSR's 5 Point Plan: Maven

1. Drop The Gimmick!: Or lack of gimmick. The only thing that Maven really has going for him right now is his title of "1st Tough Enough Champion." Sadly, this will not get him anywhere in the WWE. Nidia, Jackie, Linda Miles, and Christopher Nowinski all have made gimmicks and characters in the WWE and have basically dropped the "Tough Enough" monicker, and Maven should do the same. Sadly, things like this will never elevate you in this company.
2. Get Held Down...Again!: Now, I don't mean get Maven off of TV. Nothing like that. Over a month or two, every week, Maven is put into a different match against opponents that he could easily beat. But every week, something happens that causes Maven to lose the match (I.E. a referee problem, interference, etc...). Maven gets frustrated every week, and more and more angry as the weeks go on. It is time for Maven's character change.
3. A "Thuggin' And Buggin'" Heel Turn!: Maven needs to join a faction or get someone in the company to "run with." That is where "Thuggin' and Buggin'" comes in. After weeks of being held back, Maven joins "Thuggin' and Buggin'" after some coaxing by Theodore Long. This will finally get Maven some TV time, and enough time to build up a decent gimmick on RAW.
4. Buildin' A Fued and a Harvard Size Return! : Now, faction affiliations are not the only thing that Maven will need, he also needs to build a full time fued with someone, and that is where Christopher Nowinski comes into play. This will also help the Harvard graduate get back into storylines in the WWE. Nowinski returns to a rejoicing Teddy Long, but finds out that his enemy, Maven, has taken his place in "Thuggin' and Buggin'". Over many weeks, several altercations take place between Nowinski and Maven, building a heavy fued between them.
5. School Of Hard Knox!: To end the fued, at the next WWE Pay Per View event, Christopher Nowinski challenges Maven to a match. The fact that Nowinski is a Harvard Graduate, and Maven was a school teacher is brought up, and the match is declared a "School of Hard Knox" match. Maven triumphently wins, sending him higher in the WWE rankings, even getting shots at the Intercontinental Title.
